The sun shone brightly in the mid-fall day. A red leaf dropped from it's tree and floated on the light breeze over a wooden fence. It lightly floated over a patio and landed in a gray pot next to a growing tomato vine. A white hand reached into the pot and picked the leaf up by it's stem before pulling it up in front of a calico feline face. Maneki smiled at the red leaf and blew a breath of air on it, releasing it and letting it float away again with a giggle. "We're ready to go Kitty. Are you almost done?" asked a male voice from the house she stood next to. "Almost Master. I just have to water the last of my garden. I'll be ready in a moment." she replied as she took the water hose and adjusted the nozzle to a light spray. This was one of her greatest joys. Tending her own garden was a lot of fun, and she was happy Sly allowed her to indulge in her interests. "What should I try to plant next?" she mused to herself as she shut the hose off and went to join Sly and Luck in the house after.
