That was the thought in the back of my mind as well...... although it is not usually considered a poison, as such... more a treatment.... but in Hector's case the formaer rather than the latter definition would be considered applicable by him.
Perhaps someone poisoned his alcohol with alcohol? Grain alcohol is for drinking. Wood alcohol (i.e. isopropyl) is poisonous, and can lead to blindness and death.
For Hector, that would be just too cruel, if it was a poison that left him unable to drink!
I think Tigermark's on the right tract, but there's something else. There was a strip of Fox and a friend looking at poisonous herbs. They came across one that shook Hector to his core... I think it was... Antabuse? It could be that... >.>
*blinks* *frowns* *thinks back* I believe you, obviously. Just for some reason I thought that there were only two (elves? aliens?) there at the time that happened... Foo. My memory. Thank you for correcting me!
Ah. Color me stupid, I never noticed they didn't have the same ears/facial structure/build. *headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk* They're OBVIOUSLY different, and I'm going through the archives now going, "Wow. How did you miss that?"
