Fricken Scenery porn. I REAAALLLY wanted to illustrate Hector's proper bed, its this big domed kingsize thing that's juxtaposed out of the library wall, the windows are like a star gazing observatory, it allows him to sleep with moonlight and starlight on him and feel like he's closer to nature. He also has curtains he can pull up over the windows to shut out daylight.

Also, Hector seems to be forgetting something. Cobalt, from what I can tell, didn't pick it up- he merely reached for it. It's also worth mentioning that it looked like he intended to drink it himself; Hector simply snatched out of his hands and chugged it down. It could be a fluke in the distillery- unlikely. It could have actively been poisoned (Very Likely). Poisoned as the entire batch- not too likely, unless no one at Hector's "private distillery" tasted the moonshine before bottling; if we assume that bitter taste to be Hector's poisoning, then there was enough of it to overpower whatever taste he was aiming for, and likely had centuries of experience in making. It stands to reason that if anyone else took a sip, they wouldn't be filling hot right now, and considering, Fox's dedication to her minions, Hector especially, I'd wager the distillery is an overlord facility- meaning those manning the 'shine would likely be Minions as well. It's also Possible that they could have checked in, and were treated off screen during the whole Darius debacle. Since I don't know how he is on sharing his more... stronger stuff, I can't call it an attempt at mass poisoning- So, I'm going to consider Hector the main target in that scenario.
On the other possibility, it could have been poisoned in the bottle (it didn't come with any more of a seal than a cork). If that were the case, it would definitely peg hector as the target. That would indicate a PARTICULAR bottle was chosen personally delivered through the proper channels to that bar, to pour that particular drink.
Going off the Assumption that Hector's Brewery is an Overlord facility, and thus manned by her minions, goth Possibilities lead us in the unfortunate direction of the answer of "Who poisoned Hector?" Only a person who could move through any of those channels without acting suspicious or causing an alarm, and must be well acquainted with, and in the facility- that does not include Cobalt. I don't know who that person is, but given my train of logic (whether or not it's correct)... I'm very positive that it's one of Fox's Minions.

If we're talking the stuff Hector drinks, reportedly, then it would not be good for someone else to be drinking it. Pretty sure that's the vector, myself.

Unless Cobalt is very much a good actor, he barely had a clue what was going on around him, much less poisoning Hector.
Also, 3 elements of a crime. (Which poisoning Hector is, of course.) Means, Motive, and Opportunity. Cobalt had the knowledge to have the means, and he did have the opportunity, by what would be his motive? I don't recall Hector doing anything in particular to earn Cobalt's ire.

That is a brilliant bedroom layout..... I spend my leave and many weekends travelling to remote outback locations so I can enjoy that sort of view from my swag..... I know just how restorative it can be to the soul to lie there and watch a billion stars wheel by.
That's it.... I'm going to pack the Cruisersaurus for the weekend right now..... hmmm, can't go too remote..,.. maybe just up to the snowline.....
