I’m Todd, also known as Riot ~
I’m a hobbyist artist from Brazil, and I mainly use art as a complementary job so I can keep up with bills. I usually open up commission slots whenever I need some extra help dealing with stuff… that being said lol I do kinda need to open up rather frequently (gotta love my financial instability y’all).
I’m also a very active Role-player, so it is possible most art you see around here is RP art lol I mean, gotta love my kids, right? xP

Closing commissions; Screwed Up and Sorry. (G)

I’ll be quite straightforward with this mostly ‘cus I hate to go on around in circles explaining things that don’t… really have an explanation.
Yesterday when I was in bed already I received a message from a client saying they wished to back down from their order due to my lack of communication AND… they are ABSOLUTELY right. This was a very needed wake-up call. I have been a less than ideal artist, and I will admit I’ve been performing badly. For this person, I am very sorry. I sent you a dm via Discord, but didn’t go through. Still, I am sorry, and you ARE right, it honestly wouldn’t take five seconds for me to reach over and cancel the order once I wasn’t feeling alright.
There is reason behind it, not with this client, I swear. This person just honestly had the bad luck to arrive when they did, but I am thankful they were the one to call me out, because I needed it. Hey, if you see this! Thank you. I needed this shaking up. Again, sorry you were the one who got caught in this mess, but thank you for making me come forward and remind me I do still need owe people for basic human decency.
Anyway, uh, there is a lot going on that I won’t disclose here because I don’t feel like more paragraphs of excuses and ranting are needed, y’all need to know I shat the bed, screwed up, got called out for it because I deserved and I’ll be closing commissions until I get my head out of my ass and get a grip.
I’ll probably work on more cheap bases, get the hang of drawing again by giving my a time to deliver my own stuff so this won’t happen again.
Also all of you who are here because they shared my user, your colleague is absolutely right, I sucked at the basic.
For you all who enjoy my art and were crazy enough to commission me at some point, thanks for trying xP
