So my dad had gallbladder removal surgery and it has impacted his ability to do his carpet cleaning work. And winter is usually slow for him anyhow.

So for the last few months they've been borrowing money from me. Them losing car insurance would be bad because then they'd be in a financial death spiral. We really shouldn't have changed states anyway but 12 years ago dad was like "let's move to (State Redacted)! I'll get a bunch of work and then I'll go goooooolllllld prospecting!"

And then he spent much of the last 12 years commuting between this state and our former state to make ends meets but with the gallbladder thing, I dunno that he'll be doing that much anymore. Meaning more borrowing money from me.


Oh and he hasn't gone gold prospecting.


And it's starting to add up for me. So far we're at about $200. I've had to put off joining a painting class on account of all this. I don't expect to be seeing it any time soon at this point.

And next month they'll probably need more.

So I'm opening up commissions so I can get breathing room for when I inevitably don't get my money back.
