It's been a while since I've posted anything here, huh? It's been quite hectic, and I'm still working on Sky... but that project ballooned into something quite unexpected. It's a lot bigger than I bargained for! So in the interest of not burning myself out on it, I've been working on a side project. It'll be a nice reprieve, I think. A measly 20-30 chapters in length (for real, this time). I actually do have the first chapter finished, and I've decided to post it here. It's experimental; I'm working on how to introduce futzing around with the "physical" structure of the prose (font, font color, language, etc.). Trying to broaden my horizons.

Anyway, that's it. Just a little notice to prove I'm not dead. I don't even have a title yet for the project, but expect it to drop in the coming days!
