I'm babysitting 8am - 7pm tomorrow, so I won't have access to my PC or files, but I'm looking to collab with someone on a relatively fast turn around. YCH style, Can be SFW, NSFW, or Totally explicit, one character, two character, more, I literally don't care, I just need to get money in :')

When bought, money will be split 50/50 between both of us - I usually have YCH's up for a week.

Now for the bit where I might sound like a dick, Ideally it'd be really helpful if you were at a similar "art level" to me >.<

I'm totally fine with sketching, refining, lining, colouring, shading, painting, final rendering/details, overpainting if necessary.
I think I've worked out a way to collab with a painted style if that's what is wanted/if bids get high enough.. Uhmmm.. Not the huuuugest fan of colouring, but frankly I can get colouring done pretty quick.

I've had SUCH a busy week settling in.
I had my first babysitting gig; 8am - 7;30pm, got £50 for that.
THEN I had a job interview for Pets at Home yesterday.

REALLY Krit?! ANOTHER Updates journal?!!!

YES.

Firstly, I want to apologize to the commissioners in my current queue - I SEVERELY underestimated how much work goes into moving house, ALL of Sunday was taken up with moving my belongings with my boyfriend's brother, We were up and moving stuff by 7:30am, by the time we finished it was like.. 8pm? And we hadn't eaten ALL day.
So we grabbed some food, and then promptly collapsed into bed and died. :')

Then Monday, was the same again - Up at 7:30am for the movers to move the furniture.
And Here's where shit sort of hit the fan?

So you guys will probably remember me saying my dad said I had my free pick of anything in the house, as he's moving in to his fiance's house - So he won't be able to take anything?
WELL.
I took the things I wanted.
Only for him to full on have a go at me in front of the movers about "taking shit that isn't your" and me "taking the piss" etc etc.
I went from so happy and excited to feeling like shit AGAIN in the space of literally a minute.
I'm so subconsciously scared of him that I couldn't even properly fight back and argue my corner.
I just broke down :')

My dad couldn't be bothered to be there on the weekend I was moving, he was more interested in his fiance.
He came back Sunday Night/Monday morning, and barely said a word to me other than to yell at me and make me feel shit.
Despite having work, he promptly stayed, to make sure I couldn't take half of MY OWN furniture with me.
And to top it ALLLLL off?
He literally didn't even say goodbye.
I assume by this point he knows I never want to see him again?
But I legitimately thought he'd at least say goodbye.
But no. He just sat in his room, in the dark, in silence, being a passive aggressive baby.
And he COMPLETELY blanked my boyfriend. Never saying a word to him.

I just... I shouldn't be shocked, because I know he only cares about himself and shit to do with him - But I thought maybe he had SOMe heart or conscience for his only fucking child.

Just goes to show his true colours tbh...

I'm done.

I'm SO sorry for the frequent journals entitled "updates" etc, but there's just SO much going on and I'm SO busy - and I don't want to fall behind or make you guys feel like you're out of the loop!


SO.
I have a sort of job?
I now babysit two kids every Saturday starting TOMORROW!! EEKK!!
They're 7 and 10 years old, and I'm so nervous!
I hope I do good! ;o;
It's 8AM - 6:30PM. So it's gonna be a long one! I'm getting £50 for the whole day, including cooking and cleaning!
Totally bricking it!

SO, I'll have my laptop with me, and I'll be working on the SFW commissions I owe whilst babysitting, and as soon as I get home, I'll need to run round the house doing final packing and cleaning, THEN I'll be up late doing the NSFW commissions!!



SUNDAY, Is my official moving day!
So Sunday I'll be moving all the things I can, with use of my boyfriends brother's car - I'm hoping that'll take at most half a day?
So the second half will be for for commission work!
But I'm also having the landlady I'm renting a room from coming over, to see if she'd like me to bring any furniture for the rest of the house. So I'll have to tidy up a bit more if I can ;o;


THEN Sunday night, I'm back sleeping t my dad's - Because the movers he arranged can't pissing well do a Sunday and my dad's a cock face.
So, I'm staying ONE more night than I wanted, in order to be around to tell the movers what to take and what to leave. So I'm guessing maybe half of Monday will be more moving? Maybe 3/4s? if you include arrange furniture and dealing with moving my cat and trying to settle her in, as WELL as trying to introduce her to two doggos!! I have nooo clue how that's gonna work! x-x
AND THEN, the evening - hopefully I'll be set up in my new room, and I'll be able to do MORE commission work!!

Upon confirmation, next will come colouring and initial shading, This may take longer than a day to complete all of them, but WIP's will be sent as and when they are ready. Honestly, there's a million reasons why you shouldn't find a "Random character form google" and use it for RP.

But in my opinion, THE BIGGEST reason?

Identity theft.





Whether it's your intent or not, people WILL know of the character you're using. And unless they know otherwise, they'll assume YOU are the artist or character owner.
Anything you say, or do, whilst using someone else's "Identity" in that way, is a reflection of them.


I'm sure most people don't intend for that sort of thing to happen, but it does!
I've had people think I'm a completely different person to who I actually am, because they've met someone using my character on an RP site, or elsewhere.
I've seen this happen to COUNTLESS friends, the most prolific for it - actually ended up retiring their character for a long while because they got to sick of people thinking they knew her, only to find out, they didn't. It was some rando RPer.





And it's not just the owners/artists who you're hurting here.
Let's say you make friends with someone, or get intimate online with someone whilst using the mask of someone elses character.

One day the person you've connected with finds the original artist or owner, thinks it's you, tries to message them, and gets met with confusion, frustration, and in some cases anger.
What you've essentially done there, is lied to this person you claimed to be close with. You gave them a false notion of who you are.
And it's entirely possible that they won't trust you after that, they may even not want to speak to you anymore, because allll this time, they thought they were talking to person A - and they find out they've been talking to person Z.

You'd feel conned.
Or at least I know I would..




And just... Art is people's business and livelihood.
From a personal stand point, my personal OC/Character is essentially my business mascot.
I don't find it acceptable to have people taking my character, and running about with her doing god knows what - That REFLECTS on me, and my business.
then have to actively remind everyone that I don't do that stuff, I'm not involved in that stuff. and that message doesn't get to everyone!
Hell, for all I know - Some people may have had a bad experience with someone RPing with my character, and blocked ME because of it, despite having no idea about any of this going on.

In the long run ,that loses people business.

And in a worst case scenario, you're slowly chipping away at someone's livelihood.
Let's say hypothetically something goes wrong, and an RPer goes APE, being ridiculously offensive, obnoxious, etc etc.
Fully ruining an artists reputation despite zero involvement.

You've just killed that person's income.
They may not be able to pay rent now, or buy food.
They may end up homeless and starving on the streets...

All because you wanted to have a bit of fun online with something that wasn't yours.



I know that probably sounds extreme, but honestly - It's a reality. It CAN happen.

And I just don't think people are aware of how much character theft etc can effect someone's business/livelihood.

URGGGGHHH.

I've been really excited and looking forward to finally moving away from my abusive father, but it feels like at every possible turn, he's making it more and more difficult for me to be happy and excited.
It feels like he's doing everything in his power to make me feel like shit, one last time, before I never have to see him again.


When he told me the house sold, he did NOTHING to help. (As expected tbf)
He just told me the house sold, and said "What are you going to do?"
Left it ALL on me to sort out, right then and there on the spot.
Knowing full well that art is my only income, and that I only had about £200 odd in my savings, all from art.

I have no credit, I've had no "real job", nothing to reference, If I were a whiteboard for a high school lesson, I'd have the date on. And nothing else.

He told me that I'm essentially lazy, selfish, reliant, dependent.
And in my state of panic and not knowing what to say, I said well I'm sure myself and Danny (My boyfriend) will figure something out. To which then he responded. "Oh, so you're going to be relying on him to fork out for everything the way you have been with me then." (I feel the need to say here, that I pay out for my own shit... )

Which OBVIOUSLY made me start crying because he made me feel like a useless lay about who only wants to scrounge off of everyone else, when frankly I work DAMN hard at art...




Anyway, I think I've told you guys that bit before.

Well, since then I had to sort out EVERYTHING on my own.
My dad went on HOLIDAY TO GREECE, with his NEW FIANCE (He's only even been with her like 6 months!).
So I was entirely alone. and I had to figure out;

- Trying to get another job (of which all of the places I've applied to, not one has even done me the courtesy of saying "You're not for us I'm afraid!")

- Trying to find somewhere for me and my partner to live.

- Giving up and trying to find somewhere for just me

- Figuring out where the fuck my elderly, arthritic cat can go.

- Trying to find a "real" job whilst simultaneously being technically homeless, so having no address or location to be able to put down.

- Applying for government help in case of the worst case scenario.

- ALL the while, taking on more commissions than I EVER have before In order to get the money I needed together.


Now, I did ALL of that on my own, earning nearly $1000 in just September. And then Earning $460 or there abouts so far in October ALREADY.
(Give or take paypal fees, and what I've had to spend on food etc the past few weeks)

All that, AND a bigger work load of commissions than I'm used to.




And STILL, my dad is making shit difficult for me and making out like I have no idea how the world works, or what I'm doing, and that I'm incapable and reliant, and a burden.

He hasn't said shit about me doing it on my own, hasn't offered help once, hasn't lifted as much as a toe to help.
And he's STILL pulling shit.


I told him I'd be moving out on the 15th of this month, and he'd already arranged for movers for both him and myself (Which I find out he only did to appear the doting father type to his new woman) - so I mentioned about him organizing them for that date when he got home from his holiday a little over a week ago.

What does he do?

Fuck all.

All he has to do is text them, and he doesn't do that until YESTERDAY, when he's not even here, he's with his fucking fiance.

And he texts me saying, they can't do the 15th. It'll have to be the 14th.

After I've told him it HAS to be the 15th, as I don't want to lose the room, and it wont be ready before then....
I planned around him having movers. And now he's fucking me about.



So I drop it, and I mention about the wardrobe in his room. MY wardrobe, that he nicked when we moved here originally.
And I ask if there's much in it, as I'd like to take it with me when I move as it's mine.

And he says "Well we'll have to figure something out wont we."

Like.. No...?

It's MY wardrobe?

Either take your shit out, or I'll take it out for you and throw it in the pissing road.



He's pulling out ALL the pettiest shit he can think of right now just to make this difficult, and it's doing my head in, it really is.
It's really hard to stay happy and excited about getting away from him when he's doing this, it really is.

I got the place I went to view with two dogs ;u;
I'm going to be moving mid-October, I don't have a date yet, but I said I'd give them half the first months rent on the 15th, so I'm hoping I'll be moving around then!!


I'm SO SO sorry I've been ignoring notes, I didn't want to open any in case I forgot to get back to someone. and if they're left on read, I can't forget!

And finally, I just wanted to thank you guys SO much for your patience and support.
Throughout my time here I've seen a LOT of people go through tough times, and I've seen a lot of people get into trouble with it when they haven't stayed in contact or they've had a lot going on, and you guys, my watchers my friends, my clients. You've all been absolutely amazing.

I do my absolute best to keep people updated, and to stay in contact with everyone, and as a result I've been met with nothing but kindness, and people telling me to take my time, and take it easy etc etc. And frankly it's been a massive weight off of my shoulders.

Between my shitty dad selling the house, giving me NO help finding somewhere whatsoever, trying to find somewhere to move out for the ifst time on my own has been really stressful - I've been having nightmares every few days, and they've been really gruesome ones. I've been in a constant state of anxiety and stress, and just overall you guys have helped make this shitty situation a LOT easier on me. and I can't thank you enough for that.

I think on the day I move, as soon as I'm set up in my new place I'll do a freebie stream for my watchers exclusively. so look out for that as well. I need you guys to know how much I appreciate you.

HEYA GUYS!
FUCK, I've missed you guys SO much and I have SUCH an itch to draw!!!

So a quick update about my situation, and then onto commissions etc;

Situation;
So I'm sure most of my regulars know by now, that I'm being made homeless.
I've been to the council and other places, and there's honestly not much that can be done to help me - HOWEVER.
Since finding out about the whole homelessness thing, I've kicked my own arse into overdrive, and with excusing a few days here and there to work out where I'm going to go to live/options/etc, I've managed to earn (I think) Just over £700 this month.
So if I can keep consistently doing that, I'll be able to afford a £550 room share, all bills included, and the extra I have left will be for food etc.

NOW. Ideally I'd have liked to get back into working on art at 10 this morning, but I spent ALL of Friday night messaging and getting into contact with people offering room shares, and arranging viewings - and I'd had a viewing arranged for today which I went to go and see!!

Honestly it was really disappointing and cramped, but it's not like I have a lot of choice - So I can at least have it as a last resort.

HOWEVER, whilst I was walking to view the room in this property, I got a phonecall from another property owner who's renting a room somewhere out in the village over. And guess what... SHE HAS TWO DOGS (Reeeee!!!)
It seemed like we got on well on the phone, and I'm viewing it either tomorrow or Thursday or some time after, whenever she gets in touch to let me know really!!

I'm really excited as this place looks SO good, there's dogs, it's a nice area, the rent seems affordable, the room looks like it could easily fit my desk as well as other bits and bobs. I REALLLY REALLY hope I get it!!! ;n; If i don't I might cry.


COMMISSIONS;

I feel SO bad for making people wait, so any outstanding incompleted commissions WILL be finished today, along with a bonus sketch by means of apology for the delay!
I really wish this housing situation wasn't happening right now, but there's not much I can do, and I honestly want to thank you SO much fro being so patient and supportive of me!

I've just settled back at my desk, about to set up, grab a cuppa, and start a stream for you guys!
I can't WAIT to chat to you all, I've missed you all so so so so so so so SO much!!!

Hey guys - if you caught me streaming earlier you'll know I had to leave because my mum showed up!
She's come down from Scotland to help me sort out a place that I can live and to try and make sure I don't end up homeless.

Because of this, streams are on hold until Friday as I'll be INSANELY busy with appointments and meetings with various organisations, charities, help lines, the council etc to try and figure out what I can do to not be on the streets!

I am however taking my laptop out with me, so as and when I can, I'll be working on commissions. And if we stop for lunch somewhere I'll see if mums alright with me live streaming a quick update - or hell even a quick mini stream??

I dunno! If you guys think it's a good idea let me know!

I just wanted you guys to know that I'm not Abandoning you, I just REALLY need to fond somewhere I can live. Octobers coming up fast, and I really don't want to be legitimately homeless >.<
