Brief Update
General | Posted a day agoGood afternoon everyone,
Last week I posted the updated version of Good Morning. It’s a little steamier now, with more detail, smoother flow, and a number of edits meant to improve the overall quality. Even as a rewrite, it’s already reached 71 views and 2 favorites here, which honestly means a lot to me. Thank you all for taking the time to read and support the story.
I also posted it over on Archive of Our Own, where it’s been received far better than I ever expected: 471 hits, 11 kudos, and 11 bookmarks so far. Seeing people connect with the story, especially one I’ve spent so much time revising, genuinely makes me happy.
Unfortunately, Literotica still hasn’t approved Good Morning. Since it’s been over a week, I’m worried it may end up being flagged as “AI-written” again and denied outright. If that happens, I’m honestly not sure what I’ll do moving forward with posting that series there.
And yes — series.
I’ve decided to expand Good Morning and the world surrounding it quite a bit. The original scene will likely end up somewhere around Chapters 10–15 as I build toward it naturally. The twins are getting more depth and refinement, their mother is becoming a much larger part of the narrative, and I’m spending more time developing the emotional and relational dynamics between everyone involved.
Because of that, I’ve spent the last several days focused entirely on Chapter One. James won’t appear in this section at all. Instead, the opening will establish the emotional groundwork for why the story unfolds the way it does. It’ll still be sensual and intimate, of course, but I want to lean harder into slow-burn tension and erotic romance while keeping the heat that drew people in to begin with. Don’t worry, there will still be plenty to enjoy on that front.
That’s not all, though.
I’ve also been quietly working on another serial project, tentatively titled Isekai Noir, which I plan to eventually publish on Royal Road once I’ve built up a substantial backlog — likely somewhere beyond Chapter 35. Once I hit that point my goal will be to release three chapters a week while maintaining enough chapter buffers to continue writing and editing properly behind the scenes.
One thing I’ve noticed while reading on Royal Road is that many otherwise great stories suffer from weak editing. I’d rather avoid falling into that trap if I can help it. Revising Good Morning over the last few weeks really reinforced how important editing is to me, especially as I continue refining my own style and voice.
That said, I still plan to release smaller works and side pieces along the way. Stories like Day’s End and Promises Delayed may eventually be folded into this larger setting as well, though both would likely receive revisions and expanded characterization first. I’m not entirely sure when that’ll happen.
For now, I’ll keep moving forward one piece at a time. I may even put out another shorter scene, something in the spirit of Between the Stacks, later this week or early next. I’ve learned the hard way that if I focus too long on a single project, I tend to disappear into it completely.
In the meantime, if you enjoy my work, thank you. Truly.
And if you’d ever like me to write something tailored to you or your characters, feel free to reach out and we can talk about possibilities. If you simply want to support what I’m doing, tips are always appreciated and help more than you probably realize.
Be well, everyone,
~ Kie

Good Morning (AGAIN!)
General | Posted a week agoHi Everyone,
I've been a little quiet the last couple weeks and that has been with good reason. Earlier I told you that I had posted all 5 of the stories to literotica. What I didnt tell you is that 3 of them got rejected. BOOO.
But they werent rejected because they were bad, no, they were rejected because they didnt pass whatever crap AI detector they use over there. This upset me quite a bit because AI did not write those stories, I did.
However, I'm treating this as a silver lining. After I got up over my pique I really got back into "A Good Morning's Surprise" and realized it really isnt all that good. There were many issues including some simple spelling mistakes (seriously, no one caught that I used "plant" instead of "plank"?) and some "eh" instead of "he". So I have spent the last two weeks doing a heavy revision on the story and fixing many errors. Things I worked in included some changes to my prose (which I still think was decent), getting rid of those simple mistakes and biggest of all working through a lot of repetition.
I didnt realize it but when I write I tend to say the same things over and over without really giving enough variation. So, I've been working through the story over and over again to break that up. I also went in and added new parts, fleshing out Alina, Annika, Alanna, and especially James.
Last night I finished the updates I wanted to make to the story and posted it over on AO3 and so far its had some pretty good results. In the 20 hours since I posted i've got 243 hits, 9 kudos, 4 bookmarks, 1 comment that enjoyed my flowery prose ^_^, and even 1 subscription. I didnt even know you could follow individual stories. I do wonder how that works and whether I need to make links or updates in order to bring the stories together.
For everyone here though, dont worry, I'll still be posting my stories here and AO3 at the same time. You'll get the same version as there and that I'll also be posting to literotica. I've actually already resubmitted it there but regardless of the results the one here and AO3 will stay up.
Now, you may be wondering what is next. Well, i grew rather fond of James and the girls so I think I'll expand their stories. Technically "Midnight Whispers" is already another tale about James and Alanna but it needs work, especially since it too was rejected. I've had a few other ideas as well so I'll be bringing those to life and hopefully get them out there.
Since I had to do a lot of editing though I'm going to go slower. First, I am going to go back into "Promise Delayed" and see about fixing that up. Can it be made better? Does it really need to be better? And then I'll work on either a new story about the girls or maybe I'll start doing some serious work on my serial "Isekai Noir". (If I do the girls it'll be Annika's turn for a good time, but is James involved or maybe its a little adventure. Who knows?)
Either way, I hope you all enjoy what is coming and please, if you have time, check out the other sites if you want to follow me there as well. You can also hit me up on blueskey, discord or even telegram. Just no more scammers. It gets tiring blocking them.
Be well

My First 1-Star Rating
General | Posted 2 weeks agoWooo. Time for every writer's right of passage. My very first 1-start.
Sadly it happened a little faster than I expected but Day's End now has a single 1-star rating. Unfortunately, there are no comments or reviews associated with that 1-star so I have no idea why they disliked the story. Is it because its furry? lesbian? unrealistic? are they just having a bad day? Or could it be something else. No idea and no way to know.
The thing is though that a single 1-star by itself isnt very fair if the story doesnt deserve it, and since its only been out a single day. Now if it does deserve that then alright thats fine. But I dont think it does and having that single star there could cause people that would read it to go elsewhere.
So, I'd like to ask for your help. If youre on literotica, like Day's End, and think it deserves more than a single star, then could you please pop over there and give it the rating you think it deserves? Itll be averaged out, of course, but for one of my first stories it would certainly help and be appreciated.
Id like to touch upon these characters again in the future, but before I get there I need to know if I even did a decent job.
Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope you all have a wonderful day.
Kie
Edit: I dont know if it came from bluesky, tumblr or furaffinity, but thank you whoever helped raise the rating a little. Now were at 2 averaged stars. I really do appreciate it.

LIterotica is UP!
General | Posted 3 weeks agoHey everyone,
So, like I've been talking about I got my account setup on literotica and even submitted 5 of the stories from here to publish. 3 of them are still pending status and its not clear when that will happen. Though looking through the author forums it could literally take a couple weeks. Apparently some people suspect the mods of trying to dole out the stories in various categories so there isnt a glut all at once. Dont know if thats true but it could be a good thing? Maybe? We shall see.
For the moment though, I've got Between the Stacks and Day's End up as of this morning. Seems like I've even had a few views and Day's End got a fav over there as well. So thats definitely good news.
Hopefully, the rest will be posted soon but at a minimum it looks like there will always be a lag between here on FA and Literotica. I'm also getting AO3 setup and may even consider SoFurry as well but I havent decided yet. I figure the more the merrier right?
On that topic, I do post randomly over on bluesky so if you want more twitter like posts and more periodic updates on what I'm doing day to day, please stop on by and follow me. I've also got a Discord Server if you want to talk about the stories at all though no one is there yet so if you do drop by it may take a while before I notice.
Either way, thank you all for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

AI Frustrations
General | Posted 3 weeks agoHi everyone, your friendly neighborhood dragon here. I want to vent a bit about something I’ve been running into with my writing lately, especially before I post my next story.
Over the past few days, I’ve been working on a new piece titled “Promise Delayed.” It’s a fun little date scene between Vi and Matt, it's playful, a bit spicy, and with a touch of a psychological edge. It doesn’t go far enough to be considered fully “adult” on FA, but I’ll still be marking it as “Mature.” And honestly? It was an absolute blast to write.
Here’s where things get frustrating.
Out of curiosity, I decided to run the story through one of those AI detection tools to see what it would say. Now, I do use AI occasionally in my writing process, but not the way many people assume. I use it more like a sounding board: I’ll drop in a paragraph (or sometimes a longer passage) and see if it offers any useful suggestions. Sometimes it catches awkward phrasing or gives me ideas on how to tighten things up. For example, I used it to refine part of the paragraph involving the Uber driver, so yes, some wording there was AI-assisted.
But that’s a far cry from having AI write the whole thing.
And yet, when I ran “Promise Delayed” through the checker, it came back claiming the story was 83% AI-generated.
To which I say: absolute bollocks.
Let me share with you exactly why the system thinks it was written by AI.
" AI text similarities
Rich Yet Shallow
The vocabulary is rich and varied but lacks spontaneity and emotional depth.
Speculative Focus
The text includes speculative and hypothetical elements, focusing on potential outcomes and future implications.
Artificial Simplicity
The sentence structure is simple and conversational, often starting with conjunctions.
Uncertain Language
The text uses speculative language, showing uncertainty and lack of conclusions."
Let me give you an example of what I’m talking about:
""Only if I get caught", she said, and Katie groaned, already picturing the headlines: "Blade Wielding Local Woman Seduces Waiter, News at Eleven.""
According to the AI checker, this line gets flagged for “uncertain language,” “speculative focus,” and “artificial simplicity.” Why? Because the characters are imagining a hypothetical future. Apparently, that’s a problem now. And the line “Only if I get caught” is considered too simple, like normal human conversation is somehow a red flag.
So, let me get this straight: if your characters speculate, it’s suspicious. If your dialogue sounds natural, it’s suspicious. Heaven forbid we use foreshadowing or write dialogue that people might actually say out loud.
Here’s another one:
"Oh, it's about to get hotter."
Again, too simple. That’s the criticism. Simple dialogue equals “AI-generated,” apparently.
Then there’s my personal favorite critique: “Rich yet shallow.” Sounds impressive, right? Like I should be flattered. My writing is “rich,” but also… “shallow”? Fascinating contradiction.
Where did I earn that gem?
"The driver was older, thick fingers griping the wheel, silver stubble peppering his jaw"
Here’s what the analysis says: "The description of the driver and Vi's appearance uses varied vocabulary, such as 'peppering' and 'delicate lace', but the sentence's focus on physical details feels deliberate, lacking emotional resonance."
Yeah. No kidding it’s deliberate.
I’m describing a minor character who exists for, what, three paragraphs? The goal isn’t to dive into his soul, it’s to give the reader a quick, vivid snapshot. That’s it. Not every passing character needs a full emotional arc.
And what does the system offer as a solution? Nothing useful. Just a vague suggestion that it needs more “emotional resonance.” Because apparently, what this moment really needs is a deep exploration of how exhausted and worn down your average Uber driver is. Maybe throw in some commentary about the family he should be home with, right?
Or, and hear me out, we keep the scene focused and moving.
Anyway, I just needed to get that off my chest tonight, because honestly? This whole thing is ridiculous.
I’ve seen this kind of discourse popping up all over the place, people shouting about AI this, AI that, like it’s the end of creative integrity as we know it. And sure, it can be a problem when it’s used to generate entire works with no real effort behind them.
But that’s not what I’m doing. Not even close.
AI, at its core, is just a tool. And using a tool to refine or improve your work isn’t some kind of creative sin, it’s part of the process. Hell, just yesterday at work I used AI to help polish a report. I already had a solid section written, but it wasn’t quite hitting the way I wanted. The tool offered a few stronger phrasing options, and I picked through them, mixed and matched, and shaped the final version into something that actually worked.
That’s how I use it in my writing, too.
Not as a crutch. Not as a ghostwriter. Just as a way to rethink a sentence, smooth out awkward phrasing, or get unstuck when something isn’t clicking.
So yeah, I’m going to keep using AI here and there. Not to replace my voice, but to sharpen it.
Before I wrap this up, I’ve got one last thing for you.
Below are two paragraphs. One is the opening excerpt from my new serial “Isekai Noir,” and the other is an AI-generated piece built around the same premise. See if you can tell which is which. Take your best guess, I won’t be revealing the answer until it drops on Royal Road.
And hey, thanks for sticking with me through the rant.
Whatever your stance on AI, or my writing, I hope you still enjoy “Promise Delayed” and the rest of my stories.
Be well and be safe

Isekai Noir
Option 1
"The bartender slid a second shot of bourbon across the mahogany bar, just as Charles' shoulder gave another hot pulse of pain, the bullet still lodged there like a jealous lover refusing to let go. He barely caught the glass mid-slide, fingers trembling with pain and half-forgotten memories. "You're bleeding through your bandages again," she muttered, barely glancing up from polishing a spot on the bar that would never truly be clean. He grunted, biting back a retort as he lifted the glass."
Option 2
"The bullet was still in his shoulder when the succubus slid onto the stool beside him, which was, objectively speaking, poor timing." The PI grimaced as he lifted his bourbon with the arm that didn't feel like it was on fire, the glass trembling slightly before the ice settled. The bar's neon sign flickered through the smoky haze, casting her iridescent skin in shifting hues of violet and crimson. She smelled like burnt sugar and something darker, an intoxicating musk that made his pulse throb in places decidedly unrelated to his wound.

Couldnt help myself
General | Posted a month agoI made so much progress this weekend that I couldnt help myself. One more story though this one is much shorter (1500 words) and is far simpler.
My brain hurts now but I'm still quite happy about all the work I was able to accomplish.
Dont expect anything more for several days at least as I'm not sure I'll have the mental bandwidth to attempt it. But we shall see.
Be well friends, until next time.

Happy and Impressed with Myself
General | Posted a month agoAfter I got "Good Morning's Surprise" up I was feeling really positive and happy with myself. So, I spent much of the evening last night and a good part of today working on another story that I have been toying with for over six months. It really hadnt gone anywhere before but I finally finished and did quite a bit of editing to make "Between the Stacks" the story I had envisioned.
It still has a lot of work, to be honest, but most of that will be in fleshing out the world and figuring out where I want to go with these characters. I always meant for this to be a jumping point for something going on at the university. Itll be something along the lines of x-files, dresden files, or maybe just something purely supernatural. But with a good dose of adult play sprinkled everywhere.
However, this also showed me what it takes for me to really get these stories written. I spent 5 days getting GMS up to where I wanted it and a good portion of that work was done yesterday morning with a final sprint in the evening. BTS was about 2/3 of the way done but I managed to get the rest of that language layed out last night then today was a whole lot of editing and rewrites.
Between the two stories I have 12,389 words (5,810 and 6,579 respectively) and probably did a good 6-8K of that yesterday and today. Especially with the editing and rewrites.
All of that is to say that I know this is not a pace I could keep up. So I will likely be trying to keep to something shorter, maybe 2-3K stories in a week; but I also realize that my stories may not be done if I dont have at least 5K words which is about 10 pages. And a lot of my effort will be on the weekends. I will try to write during the week but sadly life and work have to come first (for now).
Finally, I also want to say thank you everyone that has read GMS. As of this writing I have 72 views and 3 favorites for that story and I'm simply over the moon happy with that kind of progress.
Hopefully you will all continue to enjoy my writing and the stories that are yet to come.
Be well everyone and see you soon.
~Kie
P.S. - My stories are not perfect. So if you see something odd, or i mess up a scene (e.g. in BTS I had to go back and remove her blouse when i got to the end); please let me know either in the comments or perhaps on my discord if you'd like to chat about the stories. Either way, thanks again everyone.

Progress Baby!
General | Posted a month agoAlright, so a while back I decided I'd get off my ass and really get to do something about writing out these stories. Put out the first little small piece last Monday or Sunday and spent the rest of the week trying to get the next version up and running.
Today was a rainy day so I spent a good bit of time getting it setup and ready. Its not perfect, but I think its pretty decent at this stage.
Its also a beginning. Thats what counts and I need to keep pushing forward. Over the next few weeks there should be more stories coming out. Some will be much smaller as I try little one-shots, a few may be just practice work and others will definitely be the full long story that could be part of a series.
Im not fully sure about everything I'll do but it should work out.
In the next couple days I do want to have at least another shorter story done. Or maybe I'll try just a descriptive piece. Fisk actually put out a piece today that was pure practice for him and that got me to thinking I can do the same but in my case itll be taking an image and seeing if I can write a description worthy of it. Who knows right?
Regardless, I hope youre all well and that life is decent.

Life...Life can be a real bastard at times.
General | Posted a month agoHey everyone, thanks for bearing with me as I get things setup better. Unfortunately, I've had a couple setback mostly in the career side of things. Its a real damper on plans when the house is reduced to a single income stream and a promotion I interviewed for came back as a no as some other people were deemed more qualified for a role I've done in the past.
Time times ahead but we will persevere and push on. I'm still working on the stories and getting everything setup, but it may take me a bit more time as we work through some things around the home.
So, thank you all for your patience. I'll get the rest of that story out as soon as I can.
Be well,
~Kie

Still at It, Still Trying
General | Posted 6 months agoOkay so the other week I promised a new story and.... its not done. So frustrating but I got stuck about half way through and having some trouble getting into the next scene. Unfortunately, its a scene that needs me to be in a mood to write it well and I'm just having trouble getting into that frame of mind.
Soon though. Just need to work on a few things and maybe tonight, or tomorrow, I'll get into that scene and knock it out. Once done I know I need to do a bit of editing but this story at least will then be ready. So perhaps this weekend.
Stay tuned friends.

Still Here Update
General | Posted 6 months agoHello everyone.
Well its been a while and its time for a bit of a change.
I'm starting to get back into writing and trying out a few small stories. As those get fleshed out in the short term (this weekend maybe?), I'll post them here and see what I can do. My goal is to try and get 1-3 stories done each week and get back into the habit of writing. For now they wont be anything flashy or too much. Just simple stories that I want to tell and see where the mood takes me.
If I like what happens and how things go then I plan to open up the idea for what other people want. Ideas for writing out specific scenes in my style, perhaps putting my twist in there or just seeing where it goes. Delving and trying to make things better. Eventually I would like to write up stories to go along with some of the art work that is posted. The story behind the image you could say. Which I think would be very fun and quite an experience to write.
Why am I saying this here? To give myself a kick in the ass. If I tell all of you about these plans I am hoping to keep in mind that I want to do these things and people want to read what I write. Heck I may even expand some of my social connections across telegram, discord and other places. Who knows?
But for now, you all know my plans and soon I hope to have the first story written out. Itll be a simple little scene involving a librarian ive had on my mind the last day or so.
Until then, i hope you are all well and will wait patiently with me while I get things started.

Espresso
General | Posted 9 months agoI drink four shots in the morning
I drink two shots at night
I drink three shots in the afternoon
Itll make me feel alright
I drink two shots in time of peace
And six in times of war
Drink two shots before i drink two shots
Then ill drink two more
Gotta love a classic song even if i mangle it for a caffeine fix.

Also...I feel old today. My birthday is in less than a month and time just seems to keep ticking by. Oh well.

One More Time
General | Posted 7 years agoHey everyone, are you still out there? Is anyone still around?
Well...I know I've been long gone but ive not quite fallen off the face of the world yet. Trying to do a few new things and revamping some old ones as well.
Gonna come back here a bit too as I need to get back into my writing and get that back into a routine thing.
With that in mind, I'm planning to open up commissions here. But as you know I'm no artist and instead my art is the written word. So, I'll be picking up the pen (or more likely typing away at the old typewriter) and making a new story or two. Trying to get into the mood right now to set a little something which I am thinking may be a 1920's style piece. Not entirely sure about it, but could be fun in a gangster kinda way. Still will be on the erotic side though.
Anyway....suppose I should do the shilling thing a bit and let you all know that if you have a story brewing in your mind or you want to put the tale behind your favorite images. I'm quite willing to help. I'll setup some example shortly though, as always, you can check the older pieces like Missy's first.
So, once again, hello everyone. I do hope you have all been well.

Thought I'd Check In
General | Posted 8 years agoHey everyone. Its been...well apparently its been at least 2 years since I was last here. And it has been a hell of a ride. Maybe I'll write about it all one day. But who knows.
Anyway, the only reason I'm saying anything is that I took a look at the stats and was kinda amazed. Missy's First has about 255 views in 4 years. To me that seems pretty good. So at least 50 of you per year took a look at it and a few even liked it. Makes me kinda happy.
Happy enough to actually think...its time to clean my office and clear my desk off. Time to write again.
Thanks.

Hello People
General | Posted 10 years agoGreetings friends,
Its been a long time since I last wrote anything here and I thought I'd drop by and let you know what is going on with my life.
I think since the last time I said anything Ive moved at least twice, working for the state again now, and looking at finally buying a house. Dont know how that will work out but it should be fun.
Life is pretty hectic really, constantly going up and down but life is good in general. Plus I'm back in school studying for a double MBA.
Fun right?
Who knows where life will bring but one thing is certain. I havent been able to write in a long time and I dont see that happening again anytime soon. Sadly I must put it aside for now though I do plan to return as soon as I am able. Probably once my life settles down just a bit and I dont have to worry about school as much.
Util next time friends. Be well.
~Kieran

Update
General | Posted 14 years agoIts been a while since I wrote anything here and I am sorry for the delay. I have not given up or stopped writing however, the last year was very hectic with work and several personal issues that took up a lot more time than I would have liked.
But I am back and I am working on new things. Lately I have taken time to write some more as my work is currently not an issue. Just a little while ago I posted a new short story I wrote on commission for one of my friends.
The new story is about a feral dalmatian pup named Missy who has been sent to summer camp by her father. There she is going to learn quite a bit and take the steps into adulthood. I do hope you enjoy it.
It also seems I have had some interest in one of my older stories by an editor who was intrigued by the premise. If you remember Darkened Sands (the battle story of the lioness Kistala) then you have an idea of what I could do. This story may be turned into a full novel as this year progresses and may even get to the publishers before Christmas. I will be working hard to make this a reality.
There is always a lot going on in life and while my Daily Rambles and other things have slowed down I am still around my friends. I will be posting more things soon and it is my sincere hope that you will be there with me as the stories come out.
Thank you
~Kieran
