Brief Update

Good afternoon everyone,
Last week I posted the updated version of Good Morning. It’s a little steamier now, with more detail, smoother flow, and a number of edits meant to improve the overall quality. Even as a rewrite, it’s already reached 71 views and 2 favorites here, which honestly means a lot to me. Thank you all for taking the time to read and support the story.
I also posted it over on Archive of Our Own, where it’s been received far better than I ever expected: 471 hits, 11 kudos, and 11 bookmarks so far. Seeing people connect with the story, especially one I’ve spent so much time revising, genuinely makes me happy.
Unfortunately, Literotica still hasn’t approved Good Morning. Since it’s been over a week, I’m worried it may end up being flagged as “AI-written” again and denied outright. If that happens, I’m honestly not sure what I’ll do moving forward with posting that series there.
And yes — series.
I’ve decided to expand Good Morning and the world surrounding it quite a bit. The original scene will likely end up somewhere around Chapters 10–15 as I build toward it naturally. The twins are getting more depth and refinement, their mother is becoming a much larger part of the narrative, and I’m spending more time developing the emotional and relational dynamics between everyone involved.
Because of that, I’ve spent the last several days focused entirely on Chapter One. James won’t appear in this section at all. Instead, the opening will establish the emotional groundwork for why the story unfolds the way it does. It’ll still be sensual and intimate, of course, but I want to lean harder into slow-burn tension and erotic romance while keeping the heat that drew people in to begin with. Don’t worry, there will still be plenty to enjoy on that front.
That’s not all, though.
I’ve also been quietly working on another serial project, tentatively titled Isekai Noir, which I plan to eventually publish on Royal Road once I’ve built up a substantial backlog — likely somewhere beyond Chapter 35. Once I hit that point my goal will be to release three chapters a week while maintaining enough chapter buffers to continue writing and editing properly behind the scenes.
One thing I’ve noticed while reading on Royal Road is that many otherwise great stories suffer from weak editing. I’d rather avoid falling into that trap if I can help it. Revising Good Morning over the last few weeks really reinforced how important editing is to me, especially as I continue refining my own style and voice.
That said, I still plan to release smaller works and side pieces along the way. Stories like Day’s End and Promises Delayed may eventually be folded into this larger setting as well, though both would likely receive revisions and expanded characterization first. I’m not entirely sure when that’ll happen.
For now, I’ll keep moving forward one piece at a time. I may even put out another shorter scene, something in the spirit of Between the Stacks, later this week or early next. I’ve learned the hard way that if I focus too long on a single project, I tend to disappear into it completely.
In the meantime, if you enjoy my work, thank you. Truly.
And if you’d ever like me to write something tailored to you or your characters, feel free to reach out and we can talk about possibilities. If you simply want to support what I’m doing, tips are always appreciated and help more than you probably realize.
Be well, everyone,
~ Kie
