Hey everyone,
After spending so much time revisiting and rewriting Good Morning, I realized I wasn’t quite ready to leave James, Alina, and Annika behind. What started as a simple standalone piece slowly turned into something much bigger in my head the more I thought about their relationships, the history between them, and everything left unsaid beneath the surface.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been expanding that world, digging deeper into the characters, their memories, emotions, and the complicated connections tying them all together. The result of that has become a new serial: Embers & Echoes.
At some point Good Morning Surprise itself will be folded into the larger narrative, though I’m still figuring out exactly where it belongs in the timeline as the story continues to evolve. For now, Embers & Echoes serves as the true beginning of the journey.
If you enjoyed Good Morning Surprise, I really hope you’ll give Embers & Echoes a look as new chapters begin releasing over the coming weeks and months. This project is quickly becoming something very special to me, and I’m excited to continue exploring these characters and the slow-burn romance, tension, heartbreak, and intimacy growing around them.
