Seriously, I have officially been working on the Grot Wauugh for about 6 months now. I'm having a lot more fun making these little conversions than I thought I would! So far, I have almost 1500 points of Gretchin-y Wauughness. Well, 1481 anyway. 19 points away. Oy. I need to find another squig or two.
YES, I have squigs in the army! I made up some homebrew rules for using Squig Herds in 40K. They're not the most useful things in the army, but they're a good distraction for my opponents, who seem to think the squigs are more dangerous than they actually are. If I had MORE of them, it might be different, but right now I only have 4 squigs and 2 Squigherders. Oh well.
The next pics of the army I post will (hopefully) be of painted minis. 1500 points is a good stopping point for now. This is partially because I have FINALLY worked through most of my stocks of sheet and rod styrene that I've piled up since the late 90's. I have to buy more before I can build anything, and I'm not in a hurry. When I do build more, I'm toying with some Biker conversions. I turned two of the grot tanks (the old #s 11 and 12) into Zzap Gun tanks and have the gun to build another, so that's in the works, along with at least one more Killaphract.
But don't think I'm going to avoid actual furry stuff! I'm working on an AoS army of Tzaangor, as evidenced by the Old Goat! I'd like to get some actual painting done on them before posting anything, but I plan on posting those reasonably soon!
Alas, for now my Skaven in Space are on the back-burner. As I found out in a recent game, it doesn't do you a whit-load of good to have 15 Command Points if you don't have anything to SPEND them on! Renegades and Heretics are technically IG, but most of the Strategems in the IG Codex don't work on my Skaviir, so... *shrugs*
Oh, and stories. I do have some SFW stories I should work on for posting here at some point... auuuugh, so much to do, so little time.... ^OO^
