I run Renegades, of course, and can equip units in several ways. I've got several units with a pistol/close combat weapon combination, several with the traditional las/autogun setup, and wanted two units with shotguns, just for a bit of diversity (and to annoy horde armies - yeah, they're only S3 AP-, but 20 shot at that AFTER a full move? Loads of fun against units of Grots, basic 'nids, etc).

Thing is, one of my Warlord options is Hordemaster. Basically, units of 15+ figures can "respawn" after death, but ONLY if they're at least 15 figures strong, so the thought was make units that I can combine into units of 20 instead of 10. Oh, and yes, I'm allowed to field my basic infantry in units of 10-20 figures.

I found something on Dakkadakka that might work though. Someone suggested taking the Cadian plastic flamer bits, removing the feed pipe and the 'burna head,' then adding a bit of extra length to the remaining barrels, and voila, vertical-stack shotgun...

hmmmm.. that could work. *Makes preparations to burn the heretics *

You know, I'm going to have a post a picture of my entire army one of these days, so you have an idea just how many flamers you're going to need... ;)

Did you ever play Epic? An Imperial Guard Leviathan is a command vehicle that can hold roughly half an army, including up to 5 tanks, with enough void shield armor to stop shots from a Titan, and a macro cannon capable of fitting a Leman Russ in the barrel.

Probably. ;) I'm considering making it more to have a themed army transport box than an actual, useable, warmachine. That, and to be honest, the Imperium around here outnumbers Chaos by about 3:1, so in a big Apocalypse-style battle, I wouldn't have any issues finding enough points to use it.
