Does Any Snake Owners Also Own Mice/Rats As Pets?

I have been told this is a redundant thing. Like why own them as pets if you're just going to feed them to a snake?
I personally have 2 female mice as pets. They are the nicest little critters ever and while my snakes do eat mice, I only feed frozen/thawed and keep the mice in a separate area. I also have a guinea pig, which big snake owners will know that sometimes their snake will only eat those. Idk I just get some judgment at my job when I tell customers I keep both.
You guys thoughts?

I actually love rodents and I have had plenty of pet rodents before. Unfortunately, the last rodent pets I had (4 gerbils) had gotten eaten by my snake after she escaped from her cage. I am supposed to get more but I don't know when.
My family prefers only to have reptiles as pets but I love rodents too <3
