should I bother with drawing?

This is something I've been wondering for a while and haven't been able to really decide on.
Getting myself to draw has been a struggle. It's something I want to do, but I don't know if I have the motivation in me for it or whatever. Never being able to make something that looks good always upset me, making it hard to stay motivated. On top of that, I've felt like being able to 3D model is good enough by itself.
I guess a couple of things I drew aren't too bad (the lynx head is pretty rad), but they were either little doodles or I had to stop halfway through because I kept messing it up.
I haven't touched my tablet for quite a while now and that kind of bothers me too.

Even though you haven't used your tablet for a while, have you tried to draw on paper recently? My own tablet has been gathering dust for a while now too, because I find it distracting to watch somewhere else (computer's screen) than where I draw.
While modeling is a nice skill to have, at least being able to sketch is something I assume would be nice to go along with it. It's probably the main reason I want to get back into learning to draw.
