I've always felt that I was a big cat, but I couldn't figure out which one...so I did research! :3 After copious amounts of research on big cats, I found that the Lion was the closest to my personality. Aaaand here we are today. =:^__^:=

Because I love felines and like to think of myself as different felines at time, and as another creature I love but can never see myself being are dragons, a great reply to a dragon rawr is a lion roar.

My real name is Kefir, was adopted and really do not know much of my family past so I looked up my name and found out it is of Hebrew origin and means "young lion".

I've always loved lions and it's my birth sign too. As far as the rest of it goes (being blue, controlling ice, having a mane), that's just to help me be a little different.

I am very much a feline in my personality. I'm a lion mostly because I came into furry fandom via Lion King fandom, and it has kind of stuck with me. If I were starting out in the fandom all over again, I'd probably choose a different feline, perhaps a clouded leopard.

Hi there! I'm very proud to be a lion, a lioness to be exact. Lionesses always seemed very loving and caring and gentle animals that take care of their whole family and cubs together. Also when it comes to hunting, they can show their real strength and cunning and can share their prey and eat it together.
Lionesses are a symbol of tight and loving family, strength and endurance to me.

You bet I'm proud! I always knew I was a big cat and out of all the big cat species, lions are definitely my favorite (though I'm also partial to tigers and leopards). They're beautiful, majestic, fearsome, cute, and just plain 'ol cool! Throughout history they've symbolized the heroic traits of strength, courage, honor, nobility, and leadership. I was a lion before I knew what a furry was, in a sense. The first role I ever had was the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. That show sparked my love of theatre and has been special to me since. When I discovered furry, it was an obvious choice.

I was seeing "Father of the Pride", so I decided to make a look-alike fursona of the main character. But be clear, Larry from "Father of the Pride" and me are very different lions.

Since kid I was fond to lions. I loved how lions are described in ancient lore, and how humanity had found several ways to put them as a sign of power and prosperity for the evolution of civilization.

As for me, I found the lion the best animal that can describe me. Also, my zodiacal sign is Leo. XD

After I watched The Lion King and read The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe I've been a Lion lover since.

Was always fascinated watching their hunts on TV as a kid. They are powerful, beautiful animals and some of the only social cats! They have long been a symbol of masculinity, and the males are lovely, but it's the females that do a lot of the work. Being as society perceives lions as such 'male' animals, being a lioness suits my tomboy GQ self very well! Lions are relentless survivors and can both take and dish out a lot of damage. I find them to just be a good metaphor for my life I suppose. Plus they are cute, look at those long square faces oh my

The reason I chose my fursona Darklion an whitelion since they are rare but he is even rarer since most whitelions have blue eyes like whitetigers but he has green eyes. Also my birth name is Lionel which was named after the famous Lionel Trains which their mascot is Lenny The Lion and I collect HO Scale model trains and watch real trains. I am also an Leo. Darklion is an friend to the Thundercats since I am an big Thundercats cartoon fan and I found the furry fandom by an link to FurNation's old website from an long gone Thundercats fandom website Al The Hyena Cub. An friend's mom Helvina Chaos drew my fursona picture of him. Then I found Second Life which I am my charature Darklion Baddingham which I get to be him also please only call me by that name in SL. But too I have another SL account Wildfangs Baddingham who is an male sergal / wolf shape shifter. Also I am an out and proud gay male > Gay Furry Pride!!!!<. I also like saying "Pawsome!!!!".
