Short story commissions?

I've been thinking of taking a shot at commissions; for a good while I was concerned that my writing wasn't good enough for anyone to want to pay for. But hell, I get $10 for a paragraph at work, so it's worth a shot. And the only way to fine tune my skills is to keep writing. If you want a sample to see if my style works for you, feel free to check the beginning of my gallery. I'd hazard to say I've improved since even then.
What I'm thinking is: $5, you tell me the characters and situations you want, I write a story of up to...let's say up to 15 pages. I would do dirty stuff within reason, but would reserve the right to decline if it's something I'm uncomfortable with or otherwise have too little knowledge of to write anything worthwhile.
Do you think this has merit?
