If you have no idea what I meant by that, don't worry. What it does mean is that I am now able to resume my artistic voyeurs (or lack thereof).

Now, the people who have actually bothered to look at this journal and didn't delete it in 2.5 seconds are probably asking: But Scram, didn't your computer die?

The answer to that question is yes, and it is still dead. The good news is I now have a fully functional, non-crap laptop in my personal possession! :-D

My parents purchased the machine today to replace my aging (and now dead) desktop computer and so that I can use it in college. I must say, this beats my school-issued netbook in every way imaginable (then again, I think my iPod can beat my netbook! :lol:).

The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite with a 2.4GHz i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 1GB dedicated Graphics, 600GB Hard Drive, BluRay burner and the biggest screen I have ever seen on a laptop! (it's freakin' excessive!)

One feature i do like about it is that the keys light up when you type, so you can go on forums and art sites in the middle of the night. :-P Always useful!

So anyway, because I now have a decent computer to work with I can fire up GIMP and get to drawing some art! Hellz yeah!
