For years I've had a policy of not advertising commissions, but accepting them if I'm asked and had the time. This was mainly because I'm not a fast artist and not advertising comms meant I could pace myself without a deluge of requests.

Going forward I'm stopping commissions entirely. Doing comms is not worth it monetarily, as I make much more from my daytime job and if I'm drawing for other people I'd rather do it as gift art than paid art. I really enjoy drawing for friends and would rather not have the stress of making the picture 100% perfect because I'm being paid to do so. Sometimes the more interesting pics will be the ones I've done as gifts and they're usually much faster to draw as well.

So that's it! Still gonna keep drawing though~
