strudel (cat) update

My gf took strudel to the vet today, he's most likely got a form of cancer which we suspected. But they believe he's fallen sick due to an infection and how bad the fleas have gotten down here. So he's on antibiotics and steroids. Steroids for a month, they said to bring him back in 2 days if he doesn't start eating, and to return in 2 weeks for a retest of his blood work. I'm so thankful for the chance to get more time with him.
But this means I've got no funds to my name. So any look at my adopts or consideration on purchase means a ton to me, Thank you so much to everyone who gave well wishes and thoughts and prayers.

About ten years ago, I had a cat who contracted diabetes. Sadly, we couldn't afford the medicine for him, but he passed "comfortably" at least. (Well, as comfortable as it gets....) I know it's not the same as a cancer diagnosis, but still, you have my condolences. *hugs*
What DOES matter, is that Strudel here has always known love, safety and support. You're his forever home, and that's never gonna change. Stay as strong as you can. The anticipation is always worse than the actual loss.
