Back in the Loops

General
With the comic and adding art chronologically to Bluesky I am back in my little time loops and my characters presence is super strong right now. I feel so good creativity wise with my new job and all I want to do is work on art in my down time (sometimes it depends on what type of art I’m in the mood for)
Kind of missing the community aspect of the fandom too, one of the platforms I liked died so I’m trying to figure out where I belong again lmfao. I like being able to sort shit into folders and I also like social feed aspects. Dipping my toes back into DA (I know, I know) and I’m going to be more present here too. The feed just isn’t exactly what I want and my probably on the spectrum ass feels weird about it. Change is hard.
My characters have been on my mind a lot more lately, and I’m cooking on some deeper character development. Oasis is having a stronger presence lately and damn, that girl needs some friends!
I’m also playing with changing up my mix of characters - which is big for me (most of them were created when I was a 10 year old horse girl) and they haven’t changed in over two decades - I’ll be bringing in some different species with some plot switches in the timeline!
Some of it involves expanding Grim’s backstory a little bit - he is a Spanish mustang so I want to play with a hispanic influence in some parts of his life via his grandmother.
I want to reconnect Oasis with her parents a bit more as she sort of gets out of the “I’m 18 and can finally say fuck you” phase - her parents are pretty podunk if that makes sense? Small town very Nuclear family vibes. Involving camping and getting Grim to interact with her brothers a bit more and introduce a few little conflicts with her dad…
Lots of little filler to play with, interactions with Grim’s buddies and dumb ass antics. It’s fun to flesh them out into full interactions and moments, even if coloring is a bitch.
