Making a serious attempt at a web comic

General
During my down time my characters have been coming back which is a good sign of my creativity waking back up / I’m avoiding reality… whatever.
Anyway, I have a few almost finished pages in the works and plan to publish through patreon.
I’m considering a few different tiers for access to the base comic, bonuses like sketches and a link to a ‘mix tape’ playlist to match the moods a little?
Higher tiers might include cameos of others OCs as a coworker, a pot deal, a salon guest, concert goer, some asshole in traffic, whatever lol.
a tier for NSFW bonus content with page releases
Maybe a middle tier for access to timelapse videos or my ass ugly sketch stages?
Lots to think about, but I’m working on something fun I hope!

Do you plan on ever publishing it as a graphic novel? If so, look at those final sizes and design your comic pages to fit that format at 300 dpu at least.
Do you have only your own charactersvorvarevthere guest/friend cameos? If so, avoid that having any characters not your own IP. It becomes a legal headache later.
What will your publishing schedule be? It needs to be regular and predictable. Skip posting a week or two and you lose would be regulars.
Will you post to Patreon first, then delay regular public posting to FA/etc? I cannot wait to share art so I am bad about dual/delayed posting.
How will you plan out the comic? Page by page or do you have the script written in full already? Pacing is important. Know that the common comic book is 24 pages ling, 8 sheets of paper. Each sheet gives you 4 pages and greatly affects printing prices.
One of the best pieces of advice given to me was to write up the first page and the last page. Even draw them out. Then do large thumbnails for every page with dialigue. It really helped pacing knowing what had to happen in the last page so I didn't fill up the first half of the book with extraneous stuff not really needed, leaving me to rush the last half.
Good luck. It is a big and exciting endeavor. I need to get issue 6 of my series out as well.
Really good point about cameos! I never thought of that aspect of it but did consider that it could quickly get out of hand.
Feedback is super helpful!
So far I have a few pages under my belt to release in February. I have outlines and plot points that have been established for years so it’s nice to have a push to actually flesh my characters out into a world setting.
