The commission I've been working on is taking sooo long -- we're working up a way to keep me hooked up to the oxygen while I draw. But I'm behind on what I owe for next month. The Mar. 12 surgery to place the stent was canceled -- at 3 AM on the day, so I still have three more surgeries to go. No rescheduled date yet -- I just want it to be over.

When we turned ten, the past year was ten percent of our total time being around. That's a lot! It seemed like the year stretched forever - especially at school. The whole year is fresh in our mind with plenty of room for details.
When we turn 50, the past year was two percent. A smidgen of a bit and a drop in the bucket of everything going on. We no longer recall clearly all the details of five years ago and before we know it, another year has come and gone.
This is one of the reasons that guys with mid-life crises have an urge to drive faster. The tiny smidgen of the brain that knows the faster you move, the slower time flows until it stops at light speed.
Has the rent situation eased up any? Or is that still a mess to wade through?
