this has been 5 years coming. and im just tired of it, i commissioned this person in 2018. i think the price paid was $15 which isn't much but that's not the point.
the point is all i ever got was the run around..
first it was "almost done they were fixing the background!"
then it was "my moms in the hospital (that was the next like 2-3 reasons) DONT GET ME WRONG that's why i didn't peruse anything! im empathetic and id never ask for money back or work to be done under such circumstances...
but then years went by.. and i asked again but this time just for a refund. but they again gave me the run around and i stupidly believed they'd do the art.. again...
its not been another whole year and im just done. even back when i first got the ych slot they were doing other peoples art just not mine, and same for now. all i wanted was my money back.

Like i said it was only $15. but $15 stolen. as an artist myself i dont think its fair to not hold other to the standards i believe in. she could have at least refunded me and nothing would have happened. but that was too hard just like doing the art she was paid to do...
i should probably post this on an actual beware site but it feels like im the only person they have done this to. ill go see

it is what it is i guess, they do beautiful work i just wish they'd have just taken the loss and given me back my money..or ya know.. did the word lol
I can say the same thing as well. I had this one character whom I sold an adopt too, and I waited for almost a full year before I gave them the ultimatum. They paid in full and I black listed them after I sent everything.

That makes more sense. Some people might’ve thought that you either jumped into or came back from the future. Thank goodness one can edit journal entries as well as descriptions on posted pieces.

few things I wanna say. First of all, you have way more composure than I do. Over 5 years for a commission? I would have blown my lid on them. I had something similar happen with a trade I did last year, but that's besides the point. The fact that they kept doing other peoples art while leaving you in the dark would have made me furious. It sucks this happened to you at all. I hope you can get your money back.

ive asked for my money back now at least twice and they just kept saying they'd do the art and i was dumb to trust them, i dont think i want to ask again.. it was only $15 but still wasted money sadly.. i just hope im the only one they did this to.
