A Question of Content

If you write a story, but it has certain descriptors that have been elaborated by AI, does it still count as AI content?
Would it be more like college essays and cite your sources or more a disclaimer?
Exanple:
"Character or locations descriptors have been elaborated by AI (@sitesource)"
I only ask because I've been writing a new story that lacks a flowery sort of language descriptors. So is it still original if you use an AI description of characters and locations as a reference?

I would say it's fair to say that should be disclaimered. As for "should it count as AI content" I'd say if it passes say 30% yes. Anything less I'd say it's probably more fair to say something like "contains content adjusted with AI" or "some descriptions modified with AI".

I like the later one, "some descriptions modified" sounds about right.

Honestly, I feel if your writing is still involved it's a collaboration. I have always thought this ever since I started writing stories with AI. Ai has improved my writing capabilities over the years as well as my emotional intelligence, I am one of those weirdos who see ai as a net gain.

Well it wouldn't be the first time writers outsource something of a poet to add some creative suggestions. Just look at the TV show Bones, Dr. Brennan (brilliant scientists) but lousy with the romance part (she asked her friends to collab).
