Why I'm DONE With Terrible Mouse and Its Fandom

You know what? I’ve been holding this in for way too damn long. I fucking hate Terrible Mouse and I fucking hate the Terrible Mouse fandom. I’m done pretending it’s just a “weird little series” or a “controversial fandom.” No. It’s vile, it’s gross, and the way people defend it is genuinely unbelievable to me.
For anyone who somehow doesn’t know: Terrible Mouse is a YouTube series by Gutian that takes place in a world where animals, after enduring experiments and abuse from humans, “revolt” and hide in a fake hospital run by an organization called Bloodbath. Sounds edgy already, right? Well, it gets worse.
I looked up the quotes from that short “fake hospital” explanation, and holy shit — it was disgusting.
“They are animals that human beings have experimented and abused, and they hate human beings very much.”
What a fucking joke.
“Hurt people and express animals’ hatred for them.”
How fucking disgusting.
“Only people are killed here, but they are friendly to small animals.”
As if that makes ANYTHING better.
It’s vile. It’s gross. It’s not deep, it’s not symbolic, it’s not “edgy commentary.” It’s just gore for shock value wrapped in a lazy moral excuse. And the worst part? The fandom eats it up like it’s the most profound thing ever created.
So yeah — this series genuinely pisses me the fuck off.
And because of all this, I’ve officially decided: I’m not joining the Terrible Mouse fandom. Ever. I’m done. I’m not posting fanart, gifs, edits, videos — nothing. It’s dead to me.
And yes, this is exactly why my Discord account ended up extremely limited back in early September 2025. I made the mistake of mentioning Terrible Mouse on my own server, and now I’m stuck with account restrictions until September 2027. One stupid moment involving this stupid series, and I’ve been dealing with consequences for years. I regret even giving this series a fraction of my attention.
This fandom is overflowing with losers, petty assholes, people who thrive on drama, and people who defend creepy content with zero self-awareness. And honestly? It’s becoming impossible to even ignore this series anymore because it keeps cropping up like a bad infection.
There is no point in joining a fandom this insufferable, and there is no reason to give attention to a series created by someone as creepy as Gutian. Period. Terrible Mouse deserves to be forgotten and left to rot. I hope the fandom collapses under its own toxicity, because it sure as hell isn’t getting anything from me.
I’m done with it.
From now on, I’m focusing on things I actually love and communities that aren’t a cesspool of negativity — things like:
• Cartoon Hangover (Bravest Warriors, SuperF*ckers)
• Newgrounds (Pico, Punch Punch Forever)
• Nintendo (Mario, WarioWare)
• Sega (Sonic the Hedgehog, Skies of Arcadia)
There are so many better fandoms and better creators out there. So yeah — it’s best to throw Terrible Mouse in the trash where it belongs and move on. I’m not wasting another second on it.
