I did this last year and just want to combine them both this time

2024 ended up being pretty mid but I did end it with some positivity. I decided to start collecting mtg art by Tapioca when Bloomburrow was shown off. Unfortunately 2 cards are SUPER expensive but luckily during my birthday I managed to open the 2nd most expensive one and then traded/used xmas money for the most expensive one because I love the art and the card is really good too. Then I get the newest Genshin archon and her weapon in 40 total pulls and just made the end of the year really good :3

As far as resolutions go let's see...

1. Get a job - Check, though I need a better one that's less hard on my body

2. MOVE - Technically did from the original resolution but not in a favorable place

3. Learn to drive - Nope lol

4. Story stuff - Never got to it :c

5. Have "fun" - Technically haven't got to it either. Least not irl or with anything to elevate the "fun"

6. Be social and stream more - Feel like I've failed both. Only streamed 24 times last year (assuming my live bot is right) and that used to be the amount I'd do per month roughly since I did so twice a day every day. Haven't really been social much either.

7. More art - I did get a new piece

8. Do a charity stream at 1k twitch/stream followers - need to stream more to do that x.x

9. Weight management - need to move into a less stressful place to be able to focus on this better

10. Fix/Solve my health issues - This has been a bit harder to do. As of right now the joint doctor is out. We've run through all the possible fixes for my joint issues and now gotta figure out what to do about it now. Currently trying to figure our the stomach/intestine issue but we'll see where that goes.


Now as far as 2025 goes my resolutions are pretty much the same as 2024 since I want to keep focusing on them. Think the only other things I want to do are more mtg focused like

11. collect all Tapioca mtg cards already out or coming out - already touched on this at the start. 2 of the most expensive cards are done which leaves one more $30ish card and an unknown price new card that is releasing today as a promotional card in Japan. Have to wait on the price for that but luckily it's a participation card so should be bountiful.

12. manage to get all the planeswalkers in mtg that I don't have...again - I used to have all of them before war of the spark came out giving us like 30 in one set and of course I wasn't able to buy cards or packs that much at the time the return to return to return to ravnica came around so I'm SUPER behind in all of them and just getting further behind even with just one releasing every set now instead of 2-5 (not including modern horizon 3 who I need to get all those walkers too x.x)

13. get all my commander decks completed or fixed to run better, proxies or real - I've got 22 decks currently made and 5 or 6 more in progress. A lot of the decks now have wrote on lands as fill ins and I need a lot of cards for the other decks to be finished. Sadly my printer that I have barely has any ink and I can't exactly use the other printer as it'd use to much ink from that. would use a public one but I can't drive and don't feel like spending $20 or something on a crap ton of fake cards even though it'd probably be better to do so. might end up doing so just to make all the decks look good but I really just want to finish it all. plus some decks need tuned to run better since a lot of cards have come out between the time i made the decks and now. just have a lot to go through and figure out.

So yeah. Not much has changed the last year outside of a job. Hoping this year goes better and that I can finally check a lot off or at least ones I'd like to anyway.
