Status Update.
Hello, I just wanted to apologize for my inactivity and lack of updates to clients.
After the whole bank fiasco in January, I was forced to take a lot of commissions to cover the issue, this resulted in me feeling absolutely overwhelmed. Which made me feel bad for those who were waiting already so long. So i got very anxious and felt overwhelmed and didnt know whete to start.
Right after i fixed - I think - the bank issue my wrist that had been slowly getting worst suddenly flared up to where i couldn't even type right (still cant) nor lift anything much. I still cant draw for more than an hour or 2 a day without intense pain.
Due to my anxiety around doctors tho i have pushed off an appointment for a long time, but i am absolutely needing to go soon so i plan to. Pain is in my hand up through every finger and goes all the way to my elbow. It hurts so much cuz i use my finger to draw.
Due to this unforseen pain- i had to take a extended break from art, i then when i was starting to feel better went on a trip for my herpetology stuff and in that time had someone treat me less than human and forced me to refund.
Many may not know this about me much, but i had a horrible experience in the past (prior to 2021) with clients and due to this i do have severe anxiety with doing this businesses that sometimes i just cant mentally will myself to draw. This hasnt been the case for a bit until i was treated like a non human. I still enjoy drawing for people enough that i do this.
This sent me into a rut , and my hand acted up yet again and just when i felt confident to draw again i iniured my thumb and decided to let it heal before drawing again.
I am closed for commissions for the foreseeable future until I clear my queue, as of march 30th i am working on sketching out as much as I can, i will send sketches out to clients weekly in batches to make this easier for me. I appreciate the understanding and support i have had and apologize for all delays.
