One of my favorite kinds of owls, a Short-Eared Owl. I drew this realistic piece slightly differently from my earlier kestrel, and used many references to synthesize my own piece rather than copying straight from a single reference. I think it turned out a lot better, and it was more enjoyable, too. :D
