One kind of important aspect of turning these guys from convention mascots into a personal project is that I can really let loose with these designs. For convention mascots, there has to be some level of "audience friendliness" that makes people comfortable with the lifesized poster staring at them for most of the public events at the show. I wouldn't get away with what essencially looks like a corpse.

She's not technically an undead though. More like... unliving. What used to be a normal young woman is now stuck between life and death, what used to have a beating, caring heart now has no mortal desires or fears to tell her what to do. She guards the Artifact. That's all she cares about. She remembers though. She knows she used to care for a lot more. She just isn't capable of it anymore. Coon actually got a perfect definition when he commented her earlier portrait: She's the living embodiment of a watery grave.

Pity you won't see her that much in the comic. But scarce as they probably will be, I'll try to make her appearances special :)
