I wrote this one back in 2005, and it looks like I never actually got around to putting it up on my own site. So if you weren't a subscriber to TSA-Talk back then, this one actually counts as new.
I wrote this one to challenge myself. My stories tend to be heavy on the TF description and on dialogue. So I decided to try to write a TF story that didn't have any dialogue at all, and that didn't have any description of the TF either. In fact, my original plan was not to even describe the main character's form at all... but the ending didn't make sense, so I wound up giving in on that one. Still, it's a departure for me, and still a pretty good story, I'd say.

It was a really good read, and the quality of the story was above and beyond what I usually find. The story really piqued my curious and pulled me in, as Drekana said. It wasn't filled with needless over-description or paragraphs discussing some sex scene I could care less about.
I am curious though, at the end, is it meant to be told from the perspective of the original man who was turned into a wolf, did he die and is it from the perspective of the other man? Because since he's now allowed to approach the sorceress, presumably a reward for sacrificing himself for her- I'd assume it to be main character.
But since it appeared that the main character was slain by the other wizard, who was in turn transformed... I'm lead to believe otherwise. But I"m guessing you left it a little vague, which I love. Still... I gotta know!

The main character is the same character throughout. The sequence in the ending is this: Main character gets badly wounded by wizard in black's fireball and subsequent dagger blows; nature wizard blasts wizard in black with lightning bolt; nature wizard saves main character; nature wizard TFs wizard in black, leaving him in the same (intentionally vague) physical/mental state as the main character at the start of the story; nature character "adopts" (and perhaps further TFs) main character. It's hard for this to be completely clear when told from the perspective of a character who's just about dead right when the good part is happening. :)
You thought I was a spy crab, and now you're looking to me for suggestions? :) It's a much lower-traffic site than FurAffinity. But then again, that can be an advantage -- new submissions vanish from the main page in a heartbeat in FurAffinity, but they stay on the "recent changes" list on Shifti for ages. Most of my stories are posted both here and there now.
