3 years ago today I discovered a love that made impossible things seem possible, capable of moving mountains, capable of moving my heart even out of fear and self-doubt. Out of the clear blue sky, someone collided with my life and turned it upside down; he showed me a love which broke me down when I was weak and rebuilt me as a stronger, more whole person. Someone that cared for me deeply and genuinely in a time of turmoil and promised brighter days that we're now living. Someone that held me that night when I cried in the parking lot and admitted to myself that I was in love with you, could only see myself with you.

I actually wanted it to be like we were floating high above the earth (for the background i was looking at a pic i took from a plane over seattle haha) but it didn't really come across....I may revisit this someday and extend the canvas and make it look more "floaty" haha :D

Oooh, that's a good one too :3 I listened to their Tri-State album on repeat when I was drawing this, haha. Although I think my favorite song from them will always be Satellite if it counts (I think it might technically be their side project OceanLab, which is basically them and the vocalist). UGHUGHUGH AND GROUP THERAPY is such a good album too ;m; I lucked out and got to see them live for their Group Therapy tour pretty recently, it was the most amazing electronica concert ever *rambles forever oops*
