I live in NC and we have stupid laws about wildlife.
You can't own anything indigenous to NC, so no skunks or raccoons or foxes...BUT elephants and tigers are totally legal -flips table-
I think my wanting a pet skunk is the only reason I would ever move out of NC, but its sort of a dream of mine so it would be worth it :)

that is so odd. PA has odd laws too. I can own a skunk... but it must be from inside the state and only from a properly licensed breeder, which is hard to find and even harder to become. SO I can own things like a skunk but not a hedgehog. Those are not allowed to be sold or imported.
