sunday, july 28th 2013, my baby bird passed away..
a few weeks before, we had realized that she was
acting a little more frisky than usual, and eventually
we realized that my little bird was infact a female
all along (the WHOLE time we thought babe was a boy)..
i tried my best to set her cage up to make her as comfortable
as possible; changing the spacing of her toys, perches, and
adding any extra food or cuddle bones she may have needed,
in order to help her along with passing the egg through her system.
she seemed to be doing just fine until the friday before she passed
away. she had been really lethargic, and had begun to pull her
feathers out around her "vent" as they call it. i was keeping a close
eye on her for any other signs, and was looking for vets online to
take her in on monday... sadly, she didn't make it... i'm heart-broken
to say the least.. i havent stopped thinking about her or crying for the
last few days.. she was a wonderful bird. a beautiful bird. and one of the
best companions i could have ever asked for..

i know right <3 he's an odd one XD like, all the other parakeets i've ever seen were light all together, or super bold :I he's got like, super faint stripes down his back with really light coloration, but his chest, tail and face are super bold :3 and thank youuuu <333
hahahhaah XD that would explain how i lose him in the house all the time XD
and thanks XD a few people who come into my work place call me "indian-princess" because of the bandana XD so Pocahontas isnt that far off XD.. (it helps that i'm part native american too i guess)

but i dun kurr :< i love my baby, and i couldnt ask for a better burd.
i rescued him from the outside world actually :I he got out of someones
house and was flying around being chased by sparrows. he lost alot of feathers
and was really scrawny when i brought him home :< but now he's a fat little
butthead with a sailor mouth

thank you ;n;... i know... i needed to put this back up for myself as well...
this is one of the few i have that really actually showed how close i was with this little bird...
she would always get excited when i'd come home and throw herself at the cage door, peeping until
i let her out (then she'd fly around with her little "helicopter" wings and spaz).....
i miss my baby..
