In the village in there's a wedding feast, with dance, music, and plenty of drink. Mephistopheles convinces Faust to take part in the celebrations. Mephistopheles takes the fiddle from a lethargic fiddler and with it creates indescribably seductive and intoxicating strains. The amorous Faust whirls about with a full-blooded village beauty in a wild dance; they waltz in abandon out of the room, into the open, away into the woods. The sounds of the fiddle fade away, and the nightingale warbles his lust-filled song.
So, a transcription of the world famous Mephisto waltzes for violin! I hope you enjoy, be sure to tell me of any trance-like experiences.
Disclaimer: I cannot be held responsible for your sudden awakening in a gutter next to three promiscuous cross-dressing men.
A little thank you to antiup for the fantastically crystal clear recording!

At the end of the path you will find a wonderful land; where concepts are so clear that they're malleable, where the world can be altered by a whim and where love is king and law. Or you'll find a dystopia ruled by robots. I prefer the former.
Gah, the compliments are too much, thank you!

Ninety times, in a row? Hats off to you then, that is quite the feat! Especially seeing how intense and breathtaking a movement it is. One of the few that can really bring the world crashing down around you. I don't think I've pulled off such a feat myself, although some might say I had an unhealthy relationship to Saint-Saƫns' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso in Am. Although not entirely as majestic as Tchaikovskys grand finale, it just holds a little bit of everything.. But as a violinist I'm sure you've heard this motion before ;)
I'll be sure to notify you should something transpose from out my mental tangle.
And I'm honored by your watch, very unexpected! :)

Hah, that's a nice way to put it! It certainly changed my perception of the world while it was playing; everything turned into a dramatic dance. I think it had something to do with it being the only song in my mp3.
Ah, that is a beautiful piece! A true and full composition, so it has to have more than one atmosphere to truly grasp an audience. I don't think I could have listened to the whole suite that many times, heh.
Ah, well, I never really looked at your gallery before; but I noticed your use of stark contrast and the generally broody, despair-laden touch and suffice to say, I was quite taken!

Haha, well, in the end life is meaningless and we're just trying to make the best of this weird anomaly of self awareness and conciousness. It took millennia of work to get to where we are and now it takes decades of learning to just understand how everyday objects function. That's pretty bleak.
