*smiles* Thank you for thinking of me for your project dear. I can't say i feel I deserve to be in your thoughts but I am nonetheless humbled. I am very curious as to your inspiration behind why you thought of the color purple in relation to Balaa. I also absolutely love the composition here and how you portrayed her figure. Also on a random note I kind of like the link of purple that spans Bagheera's piece and mine...it feels almost deliberate and links our two pieces together (I know I'm reading too much into it ;P )
Actually the link was very deliberate so you were not reading too much into it at all. I had a feeling you would notice that! It is similar to the colors linking mine and Chris' images together. What is interesting to note is how each of the four drawings thus far represent a different element as do their attributes and actions.
Yellow - Communication - Fire
Brown - Endurance - Earth
Blue - Patience - Water
Purple - Meditation - Air
That was actually not planned at all, but I love how it came to be that way.
When I think of the color purple I think of the pursuit of knowledge and the idea of balance between heart and mind. I think you represent that well in how you carry yourself and so it just felt right.

This piece is very befitting of Balaa in my opinion. :) She is a more fiery personality than I, and I personally associate her with the Sun (though she wants to be many more things - the ocean in particular!) I think the idea of meditation and obtaining that inner light is certainly very her. :D
