This story was written for  JessicaElwood's contest at http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/229906/. I was going for the Arabian Nights feel here, and while I didn't really hit the story feel quite the way I wanted, I think it worked out all right. The story of an orphan turned thief turned sorcerer's apprentice turned thief again...
