Why don't we have this stuff in belgium :p

I used to be an avid member of the UKWCT. Unfortunately, it all came to a tragic end when they chose to out one of their fellow conservationist. I never understood why they chose to publicly shame and disrespect someone with the same goals, but a different method. Either way, they received a very angry complaint about how they'd dare to speak so badly about the extreme methods of one ecologist in such a way. In my opinion, it's not exactly giving the idea of protecting and conserving wolves in the wild when you're leashing them like dogs. No, that sets very much the opposite signal, in my mind.

Forgive me if I offended, but I just don't get why they're more concerned about writing magazine issue articles naming and shaming those in their occupation than actually fulfilling the purpose of their charity in the first place. Conservation's supposed to be about caring for animals, how can we hope to do that when we're obsessed with warring with one another about the pettiest of matters?

Nice picture though, I'm glad you had fun on the Wolf Walk, and I hope you got to touch them like me!
