I don't know yet...or even if it is a him or a her:) A very tolerant horse with Joey, so likely female;) Meg, any guidance on if this is a male or female horse? Any suggestions for a name, Drake?

You always draw these characters in such a fittingly cute style! And I love everything about how the horse looks! Everything from the musculature, to the fur, the mane, the tail, the face and that lovely expression in the horse's eye!

I showed some new friends I was introduced to your work in NAF, and they asked why you weren't doing "Fine" art. This image seems pretty excellent to me, and very much the category of "Fine Illustration." Truly, this is one of those images that would encourage the reader to read further into the story to find out what's going on. Excellent work Meg. Keep it going.
