the kohpesh was a special scimitar meets sickle weapon it was a great weapon for slicing and stabbing but also for disarming a blade breaking when used properly you can catch an opponents blade with in the hook and you can either snap the blade or disarm them all together depends on the blade and where it is caught the shape gave it a good balance while also being able to effectively hack with ease

Sounds really efficient, was it used as a secondary weapon (like a main gauche) or by itself alone.
