In the past few years I've been collecting commissions of various characters associated with books, learning, or knowledge. These have been scanned and converted into 4-bit (16-shade) grayscale GIF sized 400x800 pixels, the exact properties required by a Barnes & Noble Nook e-reader (at least the non-color ones). So I have the likes of Raven Hunt (teacher), Sabrina (nerd), Yvonne (English lit teacher), Hazel Weiss (librarian), Fifine Goupil (journalist/adventurer), Lilith (bookworm), Inix (sorceress), Nyssa (librarian) -- and now Twilight Sparkle from "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic," as rendered by the artist for the new comic from IDW.

I wonder how popular the works by Edgar Allen Pony are in Equestria?
