I've already almost recovered, the wounds are still deep but they're all scabbing and scarring now so hopefully should be fine soon :)

Yeah, I also found out why the dog bit me. I work at a kennels and it was in for a time whilst its owners were on holiday. We use chokers at the kennels, and the dog managed to slip out of it, so I stopped walking the dog and then went to put it back on properly so it couldn't get away because the last thing I wanted was for it to run off. However, I must've done something that frightened it as it did, because that's when it bit me.

I got told next time I went in to work that the dog had had an extremely traumatic experience at another kennels in the past. So thats probably what triggered it.

probably, poor thing. hopefully it can recover from it, my chiwaha pup is afraid of everything, i wonder what she went through too

Ive seen the kind of damage a dog can do (little sisters leg) hope you have a speedy recovery with no lasting damage dude *hugs* just keep focusing on your health and recovery.

I'm already off antibiotics and I'm recovering well. I'm just glad it was my left hand what took most damage and not my right.

well glad to hear your on the road to recovery and shouldn't have any complications, I lost use of one hand for a week and thought it was horrible, can't even imagine what you must have gone through T.T but yeh glad to hear you should be fine in the near future.
