"I thought you said no one followed you?" Robert turned his body slightly and looked away from the guards.
"I told you this was a horrid idea! I told you from the start!" John growled at Robert and grabbed his shirt with his hands and pulled Robert halfway across the table.
"Listen to me: you have to get rid of it. If they catch us with this stuff they will use us to experiment on, not the test subjects!" Throwing Robert back into the booth, John straightened his jacket and removed the vial from his pocket, sliding it over to Robert. "Get rid of it," he said, casually standing up from his seat. "Meet me back here tomorrow. This time be here on time." John shook his head at Robert and walked off.
Robert's hands shook as the liquid contents inside the vial swirled around. Looking around his booth, he looked for a way to dispose of the liquid. Looking behind him, he spied a hot cup of what appeared to be coffee or tea. Thinking twice, he stood up and slowly walked past the table. At the same time, his thumb opened the top of the vial, and as he passed by, he poured the liquid into the cup, making a quick disposal of the empty vial into the garbage. Quickening his steps towards the door, he slipped by the guards that were dressed in black and out into the cool night air.
Pushing her way through the group of people at the bar, Rex sat back down at her table and wrapped her hands around her cup of almost perfect temperature tea. Her Mohawk was almost like a saw as she dipped her head into the cup and took a large sip. A strange bitter taste met her lips, as her favorite tea had been tainted slightly by something. Grumbling at the slightly foul taste, she simply poured a tad more sugar into the cup, succeeding to remove the bitter aftertaste.
"Never tasted tea that tasted like that..."
