Hoho....my DRSSTC would toast my hand, if I would do that^^ Even on low power it is too much, cause the coils are made to create a loooot of voltage^^

ya I would never touch a DRSSTC, I think the grouping of the oscillations on ring-down make it appear more like low frequency AC to the nervous system, while the sharp transition and fast decay of the SSTC you just don't feel and your muscles don't respond other than the hot arc on your hand very momentarily.

Yeah that's it. I would be really careful with that and only would touch the arcs with a faraday glove, but never directly. This would ruin the day. But the gif here is pretty nice^^
