The-Kaiser has been bugging me for some time now to draw Gadget in a starfleet uniform, but until now I simply lacked inspiration. Then I got the idea that she's found Geordi's VISOR and is returning it to him (and obviously a little starstruck by the encounter). I tried to give her a shorter, Starfleet-looking hairdo, and I think it came out really cute. (Y'know, I wasn't going for a Tasha thing, but it's there ...a little.) I also tried to make the background that 'Enterprise corridor beige' color.Notice, please, that I didn't take the easy route and make the gold part of the VISOR just a bunch of vertical lines. Nay, I used references. I am an anal-retentive twit. Also, if that thing wasn't kitbashed from a hairband, I'll eat my own shoes.

Style-wise it's all spot-on. Those space pajama's do hug the curves, don't they? :)
-sigh- Star Trek has gone from being Man's Man sci-fi to being the saccrine brain-poision of a generation.
There's only a few ways to handle it. Lose the space pajamas and feraly fist-fight the nearest Gorn. And it's not complete unless there's a torn shirt.

Feh. Next Gen was as good or better than the original series. Although in very different ways, mind you. TNG was a heck of a lot better at developing the whole cast instead of just a few main characters, and while TOS was harder sci-fi, both of them had good stories and there probably wasn't a truly sucky episode of either series.
Enterprise, on the other hand, was as bland and unoriginal as they come.

I'm in complete disagreement with that. NG was too soft, while Enterprise was Star Trek almost done properly. It was excelent, every bit of it. I don't care about what the characters feel I care about what new threat they have to beat down. And NG didn't even have a Mirror episode!
That's a nice little ST scene with Gadget.

Okie-doke, I gots a few suggestions for outfits for Gadget:
-Baby-doll dress
-A Clockwork Orange Droog outfit
-Footie-pajamas
-Goth fashion outfit
-Pirate costume (or pi-rat, I couldn't resist)
-Hogwarts uniform
-Jedi costume
-Chihiro/Sen costume from "Spirited Away"
How are those suggestions?

Actually, I've seen a few of those. The baby-doll, the pajamas, the goth. Not to say the idea of Gadget in pajamas doesn't give me a raging boner-o-rama.
And actually, Gadget-as-Hermione works pretty well. Chip and Dale fit perfectly into Ron & Harry. Monty'd make a GREAT Hagrid! ...and Zipper can be Crookshanks! LOL!
These are some pretty good ideas, although keep in mind; my drawing hand is a fickle creature. I do not control it in the slightest. If I even draw one of these, I'll be surprised.

I kinda knew some of my suggestions were already drawn, because this is Gadget were talking about. There's a whole plethora of drawings of her in cute clothes out there, I bet. Speaking of which, where do ya think I could find some of those drawings you mentioned above?
Also, about the Gadget as Hermione pic, it would also be great if like Tammy was Ginny, Foxglove was Looney-I mean, Luna Lovegood and maybe Fat Cat could Voldemort, LOL!

*shrugs* Best I could do to tell you where I've seen those is to delve into fchan occasionally, and also peruse the RR Database.
Good ideas on the HP thing! Foxy would make an *excellent* Luna! Although, thinking about it, doesn't Fat Cat lend himself more easily to Slugwort?

I'm just thinking *visually*. I mean, Voldy's a slender dude.

I LOVE YOU!!!!!* just kidding i love Gadget :p
This is the most Perfent version of Gadget in the 2367-2371 of Starfleet i've seen
and i agree Star Trek used to be very good but when Enterprise messed the sh** up with all continuity errors and the last episode of that was just a kick in the groin for hard core Trek fans i think both Riker and Troi were out of place and looked way too old and for espcially for Riker he looked too old and overwieght in that episode Hopefully the new movie coming out next year will be a good one or atleast be worth it when i buy it anyway when it comes out in DVD

Calm down, dude! Take deep breaths!
Thanks for all the love, and the idea itself. It came out better than I expected and I had fun drawin' it.
Enterprise was kaka. I only saw the two-part episode that retconned the Klingon head-thingies, and was like, 'This is a major momen in Trek history, and they can't be bothered to come up with a better script!? This could have been done in an hour! And virtually everything I'm seeing feels stolen from somewhere else! And aside from Phlox, all these characters could be freakin' cardboard cutouts!! I didn't pay a penny to watch this and I STILL want my money back!'
The movie may rock though. I have heard that the person they've cast as Scotty...
...is Simon Pegg.
Oh My Fucking God, how can a movie with Shaun/Nick Angel in it possibly be anything but freshly squeezed awesomeness?

This reminds me of - Tasha Yar, who was killed without purpose by a tar-like monster named Armus in SKIN OF EVIL. In YESTERDAY'S ENTERPRISE, they had an opportunity to bring the character back.* DC and Marvel both brought back characters confirmed dead, oft by improbable means.
I myself brought a character I bumped off, but wish the story could have been better written. I had lastingly burned out and the fight against burn-out and writer's block finally proved too much.
* sacrificed herself to restore history to its proper form, but her daughter turned up (played by the same actress).
