We foster cared our first Malamute over a long weekend and took him back to the shelter Monday we stopped in Thursday to see if he remembered us... I had 90 lbs of mal drag me to the floor whining and crying and washing me face doing the where have you been I missed you thing... This was a dog that was very aloof with everyone. I think we made an impression on his fuzzy brain... he was with us 13 years.
