I freely admit that when I first came up with the superheroine version of Purity, I had Power Girl in mind. :)
However, I also wanted to touch on some of the character's original concept - that of a crusading Paladin. Ergo, the Templar Cross and, to some degree, the tabard-like motif I'm trying to flesh out.
That said, she's still a fairly large mare, for the usually dainty-looking unicorn. I've always looked at her as sort of a draft breed.
