I have had a number of artists draw her in this uniform, and every one seems to do her legwear differently, which I find interesting and cool at the same time.
So here is Topaz in her uniform with a skirt. :)

I need to just write, I've got what I think are some good ideas but how to solidify them is a question mark. Right now I know I need more research, but I'm debating if I should try to repair my plans first or just go forward and try to do it on the fly, which I've never hugely been good at, but changes are inevitable. I did order some new books that might be helpful.
Seems simple, but I have the tendency to hesitate when I'm not sure. Which is a lot lately.
I prefer to plan things out when I can, short stories that is not too hard. I am hoping to be able to craft a four part series based on this idea above, a magic vs technology story where my characters are caught in the aftermath of a war. Topaz here is intended to be a key figure in the mythology. She can activate ancient technology due to her genes.

Yeah, I know I need to learn more science and familiarize myself with some of the things I use a lot but don't really understand, magic systems and such, maybe how different types of governments work, in the mean time I am kind of winging it.
