To be left alone in a world of snow the Yuki-onna want nothing more than someone to be with them, someone who will never leave or hurt them. Even as they build a collection of crystal victims they can never leave their frigid loneliness.

As she sees brothers heading her way she quickly targets the oldest only for the youngest to stop her. The fire in his eyes amongst the cold surroundings were warming her cold heart and she agreed to let them live as long as they never talk about her, she didn't exist.

Years later the youngest had a wife and children, and on a snowy day while the children were asleep the man commented on how his wife looked like a woman he once met in the snow. Saddened by the tale and broken promise the wife returned to ice and shattered, leaving behind nothing but a silvery mist, she spoke in the wind making him promise that he will never bring harm to their children, and threatening that if he broke his promise again his life will end. She was never seen or heard from again.
