Birch to the rescue!!!!!
Pocketducks came to me and offered to do the voice of Grizz in this. I had done the voice of Grizz originally, primarily because I did not want to have to saddle anyone else with a character as despicable as him. In working with Scatterpaws to develop this arc, the idea was presented to me of having Grizz suffer from multiple personality disorder. This is going to be explored later when Grizz returns. In any case, Pocketducks did such an extraordinary rendition of the lines I decided to go back and have him redo all the previous lines for Grizz as well.

The problem with two people posting the same submission is that the viewers/fans are going to start thinking that the other guy is the one who runs the show instead of the guy who started it. I knew someone would say it eventually... so I was just waiting to hear it.

Okay, here's what happened.
You had a story that was good.
You took it to a next level and you COULD have turned towards great.
But you didn't.

We needed a way to make so you actually felt sympathy for Grizz despite the fact Birch viewed him as a total monster for what happened in the past. Dipper was unable to come up with an idea, so I went with the only idea that actually fit, and that was that Grizz literally has no control over his actions because of his second personality. Which would naturally have mean that all those times Birch thought Grizz was a total jerk, were purely based on the fact Birch didn't know the real story.
That was amazing. I am not sure I trust Grizz. Could be an act. But you did say you wanted to surprise so maybe . . .
I am happy for Birch. He seems to have made a break thru in his issues. I so much want to see him happy. When I started listening it was entertaining. But your sure developed this into something much more. I give this chapter a 10 minute standing applause.

...You know, I think I just realized that not all of the characters in these stories are depicted wearing pants. I mean, not in the artwork of them I've seen in this gallery anyway. Birch and Grizz are both depicted as having pants, but Stargazer and Dipper are usually shown only wearing a vest or jacket...

It was a very dramatic moment, but I couldn't but laugh a lot on that part.
