This is my character Twilight Wolf. My friend over at Deviantart, Kitfox-Crimson did her for me. She was inspired by War Wolf, a character belonging to 
vivavulpes! Also her outfit was inspired by 
thefunkyone's White Shadow's outfit. White Shadow also inspired Twilight Wolf, especially since both are high-tech ninjas, although Twilight Wolf is a superhero and crime fighter, while White Shadow is a thief.

That's a good approach. While they may say sex sells, it actually came derailed a story in no time. It's okay to imply that sex took place but still be careful. The same goes with violence you have to find a balance.
And I found that doing research is a good idea. If you have a character explaining astrophysics or Ancient Egypt culture, make sure your character knows what they're talking about! Unless it is part of the story for them to be wrong.

That works! It's okay to write a non canon once in a while. Those kind of stories help improve your writing as it gives you practice.
